Pearl City First Graders Turn 100 Years Old

Pearl City, Illinois — It takes a pretty creative teacher to come up with things to do for first graders to captivate their attention and their minds.

Recently, Mrs. Lorig of Pearl City did just that as the school celebrated their 100th day.

On this day, Mrs. Lorig’s First Grade Class enjoyed the 100th Day of School by dressing up like they were 100 years old.

The students also enjoyed $100 bill bookmarks and counting out 100 fruit loops. Lucas Bremmer and Morgan Campbell are pictured counting their fruit loops.
