Freeport, Illinois – The Freeport Downtown Development Foundation (FDDF) is hosting a downtown Freeport Wedding Walk this Saturday, April 1st. The event features over 40 vendors displaying wedding related goods and services.

Registration begins at Studio 218 Salon and Spa at 218 W. Main Street, at 10 a.m. The cost is just $10 to register and the first 150 paid brides get a swag bag, valued at $200.

The event goes until 2 p.m. and includes a trunk show at the Wagner House at noon.

Each of the locations will have an array of entertainment, food, specials, and prize giveaways. FDDF is also having a “Decorate Your Bride” contest during the event. The winner gets a downtown Freeport prize package valued at $400.

Freeport’s downtown is the core of the economic health of the city. With over 200 businesses, it is FDDF’s goal that the downtown district is a premier place to live, work, shop and enjoy. Interested volunteers can contact the office at 815-232-9000.
