Children’s Hands-On Museum To Host “Frosty Ball” At Grand River Hall

Freeport, Illinois — Now is the time to get your tickets to join the local community for a “Frosty Ball” presented by the Children’s Hands-On Museum of NW Illinois on Saturday, January 27 at the Grand River Hall from 6 PM – 11 PM CST.

The hall is located at 101 South Liberty Street, 6th Floor, Freeport, Illinois 61032. Tickets must be purchased by January 17.

Come enjoy the beautiful new hall with an amazing seated dinner catered by Rafters Catering and enjoy dancing to the sounds of Back Country Roads. Dinner will include salad with apple vinaigrette, herb encrusted pork loin, green beans, red potatoes, and dinner roll. The dessert table will have a wide variety of specialties from area bakers.

Silent auction items are featured at the ball. A whole hog with butchering included will be raffled as well during the evening with tickets for $10 each or 3 for $25. You need not be present to participate in the raffle.

Social Hour begins at 6:00 p.m, and dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. Dancing to follow.

All proceeds will aid in opening a permanent location of the Children’s Hands on Museum of Northwest IL.
