ESPN To Visit Little Cubs Field Sunday & Monday

Freeport, Illinois — May 21, 2017 — In light of the rainy weather forecast ahead ESPN will be visiting Little Cubs Field for an additional filming opportunity on Sunday, May 21, 2017. With the forecast of rain on Monday night for the Little League game, ESPN will be filming at Little Cubs Field at 5:00 pm on Sunday night as well.

ESPN will film for approximately an hour or two. The two teams involved in Monday night’s game will also be there Sunday in full uniform. The actual game for Monday will still be played on Monday and ESPN will be there, weather permitting as well.

Fans are encouraged to attend each game.

The segment they complete will be used on Sunday Night Baseball during or before the Cubs/Cardinal game at Wrigley on ESPN on June 4th.

We are told that ESPN will also take neighborhood shots around Read Park and down Lincoln, Stephenson street and perhaps others areas where people are flying their W flags. (hint hint)
