Get Ready For The Freeport Bicycle Co. ‘Frostbite 40’ This Sunday

Freeport, Illinois — Freeport Bicycle Company is putting on an event next Sunday February 26 called the Frostbite 40. Its a 40 mile gravel road bicycle “race.”

Its a FREE event, but we are taking donations to raise funds for a community service project in Freeport.

Its a unique event in a way that most people don’t ride bikes this time of year. It also takes place on gravel road which isn’t a terrain most people choose to ride bikes on. We have over 50 people already RSVP’d. We have folks RSVP’d that will be coming from Chicago, Madison, and Milwaukee.

Ride launches at 9:00 AM next Sunday from Sumner Park in Pecatonica IL. you can search Frostbite 40 on facebook or find info at
