Make 13 Local Heroes a part of your Weekend

Freeport, Illinois — Looking for something neat to do this weekend? Come out to the Freeport Art Museum and see the Small Town, Big Heroes Exhibit with the family.

An exhibition of photographic portraits, taken by Amy Dreibelbis Fairweather and Ben Fairweather of D + F Studio, of thirteen unsung heroes, the projects mission was about unearthing and celebrating people in the community that make a big difference in the lives and organizations they touch.

Open Tuesday thru Friday: 10 am to 5 pm; Saturday: Noon to 5 pm. come out and see portraits of thirteen individuals chosen as unsung heroes.

The photographs are displayed with a quote that was distilled from each Small Town, Big Hero that best depicted the essence of their nomination.

The exhibition is located on second floor of the Freeport Art Museum which is not wheelchair accessible.

The event free, but donations are appreciated.
