Northern Illinois’ Largest Bargain & Treasure Extravaganza Starts This Friday

Northern Illinois — If you’re a bargain hunter and love finding deals and steals and even local meals, the single largest bargain and treasure hunting event in Northern Illinois is taking place this Friday and Saturday.

Sponsored by the communities of Dakota, Davis, Lake Summerset, Rock City, Durand and Rockton, this annual event involves hundreds of garages sales, small businesses, flea markets, as well as churches and restaurants selling food in small communities all along the highway between the towns. Avid garage sale shoppers and treasure hunters can find everything they want and more along the route.

Be sure to stop by Saturday in the Park in Dakota on Saturday!

Started in 2002, the Route 75 Sales are held annually the first weekend of June along the 40 mile stretch of Illinois Highway 75 between South Beloit and Freeport.  Featuring hundreds and hundreds of garage sales, yard sales and rummage sales along 40 Miles of IL RT 75.

The annual RT 75 Garage Sales event will take place Friday & Saturday, June 2 & 3 from 8 am to 5 pm.  You can get maps, sales lists and more information at route75sales.com.
