Freeport, Illinois – The Salvation Army of Freeport, Il recently announced a first ever for the Salvation Army, announcing their first ever Drive-By Food Drive.
Due to high demand from an increasing amount of people seeking their help, the Salvation Army states they are extremely low on the basics in their food pantry, such as canned food.
On Saturday, July 23 between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, those who would like to give can simply pull up to the curb in front of the Salvation Army building at 106 W. Exchange and a volunteer will receive their donation of canned goods. You don’t even have to get out of your car!
The Salvation Army thanks everyone for helping your neighbors in need through your support of The Salvation Army and its programs and services.
