Stephenson County Historical Museum Launches ’75 for 75′ As Part Of Its 75th Anniversary

Stephenson County, Illinois — The Stephenson County Historical Museum is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. As part of the celebration, they have launched a fundraising campaign “75 for 75.”

The museum is asking friends of the museum to donate $75 or more in honor of this milestone anniversary. In return, they will send you two tickets to their donor celebration- a Summer Garden Party that will celebrate in 1940s fashion!

The party will take place on Saturday, June 29th, from 1 to 5 PM on the museum grounds, located at 1440 S. Carroll Ave, Freeport.

Enjoy big band music, dancing, wine, hors d’oeuvres, and more.

We encourage you to come dressed in period clothing if you would like! Set on the beautiful arboretum grounds of the Taylor House, the afternoon promises to be a wonderful celebration of history.

We hope you will join the fun.

More information and an order form can be found at https://www.stephcohs.org/calendar-of-events, or you can call the museum at 815-232-8419 for more information.
