Citizens State Bank Names Mindy Borgmann Chief Risk Officer

New Position Focuses on Future, Strategy

LENA, Ill. – March 20, 2017 – Citizens State Bank has promoted Mindy Borgmann to the newly created position of Chief Risk Officer. Borgmann has been in the banking industry for more than 30 years, and has most recently been serving CSB customers as Senior Vice President of Retail Banking.

As Chief Risk Officer, Borgmann will focus on developing and maintaining a comprehensive process for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting key business risks that can impact achievement of the company’s goals and objectives.

“My new role is more analytical, and focuses on positioning the bank strategically for growth and success,” Borgmann says. “I’m excited to be able to help Citizens State Bank grow and better serve our customers and communities.”

Borgmann is a graduate of Highland Community College and Dakota High School. She is the treasurer of the Lincoln-Douglas Society and serves as board president for VOICES of Stephenson County. She is also an active volunteer for the United Way of Northwest Illinois and the Salvation Army.
