The First Pretzel City Winefest Touts A Success Despite The Rain

Freeport, Illinois — May 22, 2017 — The first ever Pretzel City Winefest was held this Saturday in downtown Freeport, Illinois. A new event for downtown Freeport, around a hundred or so people came out to enjoy over 20 wineries offering over 50 flavors of wine available to taste.

With wine pouring at participating downtown businesses offered by a few local Freeport celebrities, participants had a chance to visit our local downtown shops as they enjoyed an afternoon of fun.

With a cost of $25 people attending were given twenty wine tastings and a souvenir wine glass as a memorabilia piece. Here are a few photos of the 2017 Pretzel City Winefest held in downtown Freeport, Illinois.
