Mort’s Bar & Grill Back Open Today After Making More Updates To Their Century Old Landmark

Freeport, Illinois — One of Freeport’s most historic destinations is closing this week to perform some annual spring cleaning and, to make some more updates to their century old Freeport landmark.

As many of you recall, Mort’s did a complete update last year to the inside and outside of the famous bar removing the closed in ceiling on the inside and installing new windows and a door on the outside. This year Mort’s is installing windows upstairs and preparing to repair their historic facade on the outside.

Mort’s closed on Sunday in honor of Mothers Day and will remain closed until Thursday May 18th, 2017 of this week.

We’re extremely excited to see the improvements to this historic Freeport location.
