Freeport, Illinois — The Freeport Community Foundation has announced nominations are open for the 2018 Matthew A. Marvin Community Impact Award. This award recognizes the importance of philanthropy and giving back to residents of Northwest Illinois. In addition to the recognition, the recipient is awarded $1,000 to present to the winner’s chosen non-profit 501(c) (3) charitable organization.
The Impact Award honors an individual whose vision, humility, dedication, and enthusiasm positively impacts the community.

Nominations are due at the Foundation office by September 12.
The recipient will be announced at the Foundation’s Fall Grant and Donor Reception on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at the Eagles Club, 1200 West Galena Avenue, Freeport, IL.
