City of Freeport To Offer 1-Day City-Wide Storm Debris Removal

Freeport, Illinois — July 21, 2017 — Freeport’s City Manager Lowell Crow has issued information regarding a city-wide storm debris pick up plan as a result of the July 19th storm that swept through our city.

Start Monday, July 24, 2017 City crews will begin a one-time City wide clean up of trees damaged by the recent storms. Residents are asked to bring their debris to the curb without blocking the sidewalk or the street.

Please limit your debris to storm damage only, and please do not park in front of or on the pile so it can easily be picked up.

Please have the debris ready for pick up as this service will be ending Monday, July 24, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
