City of Freeport Wants Ideas To Establish More Business Friendly Liquor Ordinances

Freeport, Illinois — The Liquor Commission will be holding working groups to review and update City of Freeport ordinances in chapters 608 and 806, the City announced recently. The city says the goal is to discuss ideas and establish more business friendly ordinances for the city’s liquor license holders.

Liquor License holders are invited to attend these special meetings that will have an open forum. Attendees are encouraged to read the chapters mentioned above prior to attendance to make the best use of everyone’s time. Chapters 608 can be found here and 806 can be found here.

The city says the forums will be held at City Hall in Conference Room 1-B on the main Floor from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on the following dates.
