Jodi Miller Wins Citizens Mayoral Primary

Freeport, Illinois — In a landslide victory, Freeport’s Jodi Miller pulled of the win in yesterday’s Mayoral primary held in Freeport.

In all 2,733 people voted in the primary.  Jodi Miller took 57% of those votes getting 1,571 total.

The other candidates who ran in the February 28th primary are as follows:

David L. Fonda 616 – 23%
Michael D. Koester 327 – 12%
Joseph Cardoso 219 – 8%

Jodi Miller had this to say on her candidate facebook page of her victory.

“Wow, what a night, thank you! I would like to thank each of you who voted for me last night. We will always do what is in the best interest of our citizens. We will put Freeport First and continue on with the great progress we have made these past two years. Again, thank you for your encouragement and support.”
