Freeport, Illinois — Freeport Masonic Center will be having an “Open House” during the downtown ‘Mistletoe Walk’ from 12-4 this Sunday, November 18th. We will have cookies, coffee, hot cider and hot chocolate. We will also have a sneak peak of HCC’s upcoming Madrigal dinner performances. They will be performing on stage in our auditorium at 12:45.
Later in the afternoon there will also be a performance of a DeMolay ceremony called the Ceremony of Light in the auditorium at 2 pm. Santa will be there for the kids to visit with and handing out goodies. Pictures with Santa are more than welcome. Building tours will also be offered throughout the day.
Freeport’s annual Mistletoe Walk is held in downtown Freeport where storefronts are decorated for the holidays offering cookies, coffee, hot cider and many joyous sights, sounds, and flavors of the Christmas season. May businesses also offer holiday deals. This is a free event to kick off the holiday shopping season.
