LENA, Ill. – June 26, 2017 – Citizens State Bank is pleased to announce that Loan Officer Matt Moyer has graduated from the Highland Community College Leadership Institute’s 2016-2017 program.
The Leadership Institute is part of a leadership development program at Highland Community College which provides opportunities to all segments of the college community to learn more about leadership fundamentals. The program is committed to developing and
sustaining a network of local leaders who are:
- Knowledgeable about community issues
- Able to demonstrate effective leadership and collaboration skills
- Committed to building and improving the region’s organizations and communities

Matt earned an Associate’s Degree from Highland Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Illinois State University. He has been a member of the Citizens State Bank team since 2008 when the Freeport branch opened. Matt stays actively involved in his community by serving on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, as a Freeport Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, and as a member of the Stephenson County Young Professionals Network Planning Committee.
