Suicide Blamed In Death At Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Park

STEPHENSON COUNTY, ILLINOIS — The Stephenson County Coroner has issued more information on the deceased individual found in Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Park.

The person discovered has been identified as Itasca, Il resident Leesa Rahe age 52.

The Coroner states that autopsy preliminary findings showed that Rahe died as a result of a suicide.

No additional information was available.


STEPHENSON COUNTY, ILLINOIS — The Stephenson County Coroner has informed us that on Sunday March 17th a subject, whose name is not being released until family has been notified, was pronounced dead by the Stephenson County Coroner at the Lake Le-Aqua-Na State park outside of Lena, IL. We have reason to believe the person is female, but that has not been confirmed. We have no additional details at this time.
