Freeport Native Dan Runte Named Vice President of BIGFOOT

Pacific, Mo — On February 2, 2017 one of Freeport’s own, Dan Runte was named the Vice President of BIGFOOT.

According to bigfoot4x4.com when long time VP of BIGFOOT Jim Cramer retired, it left some really big shoes to fill. The company said they wanted someone who “knows and understands the sport and BIGFOOT’s place in it”.

Dan Runte was the obvious choice.

Having spent the past 28 years in the game, Dan knows practically every aspect of the industry.

“He has seen how the sport has progressed over the years and has been a key player in many of the most impressive feats and technological advances in monster trucks”, bigfoot4x4 said.

As Vice President, Dan will play an integral part of everything BIGFOOT – from the trucks to the drivers, in the shop and on the road.

Fans can expect to see Dan in the pits, in the shop and some in the office. He may be turning a wrench, coaching a driver, or talking with fans.

“Dan has always been great with our sponsors and promoters too, and will continue to work with them all.”

Congratulations Dan. You represent Freeport in a great big way and we’re proud to have you as one of our own.
