Freeport Police Department Gang Unit Make Felony Firearm Arrests

Freeport, Illinois — Execution of a search warrant results in felony firearms charges for Deandre Farrille (age 24) of Freeport and Alvin Jones (age 25) of Rockford.

On November 2, 2018, at approximately 6:20am, the Freeport Police Department Gang Unit and the F.P.D. Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of E. Winneshiek Street in Freeport. During a search of the residence two (2) semi-automatic pistols and firearms ammunition were recovered.

The ensuing investigation resulted in the arrests of two men who were present when the search warrant was executed; Deandre Farrille (age 24) of Freeport, and Alvin Jones (age 25) of Rockford.
