Freeport, Illinois — The Annual FSD145 World Arts Festival is an event that features over 1000 students, representing almost one-third of the Freeport School District population. From Kindergarten through 12th grade students showcase portraits, paintings, sculptures, and clay projects created. In addition to the visual arts display, all band, orchestra, and choir students perform music selections which highlight other cultures and countries.
At the event held this year on March 8th, 2018, FSD caught a small taste of the Arts Festival in the video below. FSD says yesterday’s Festival was an awesome showcase of artwork and musical performances.
Below is the combined Elementary Chorus concert under the direction of guest director John Jacobson.
