Big Brothers Big Sisters Accepts Grant Check From Dan Schmitt To Provide Match Activities and Background Checks

Freeport – Janet Plante, shown in photo from Freeport Health Network-Family Counseling Center (Big Brothers Big Sisters) is shown accepting a grant check from Dan Schmitt of the Freeport Communit Foundation. The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Illinois Mentoring Program services at-risk youth 6-18 years of age in Stephenson and Jo Daviess Counties. The funds will be used to provide match activities for the program participants as well as background checks for program volunteers.
