Freeport, Illinois — After years of caring for patients at FHN, nurse midwife Kim Vittorio, APN/CNM, has retired. FHN will celebrate her service with an open house in March.
Kim cared for patients as part of the FHN Women’s Healthcare team at the Harlem Avenue Ob/Gyn location, which will be the site for the open house. The public is invited to the event, which will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 15 at FHN Specialty Care – Harlem Avenue, 25 N. Harlem Avenue in Freeport. Refreshments will be served.
As an advanced practice nurse and board-certified nurse midwife, Kim provided compassionate and dedicated care for her patients of all ages. She is originally from Freeport, and earned her nursing degrees at Northern Illinois University and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
