Pearl City FFA Takes 1st Place At Section 1 FFA Livestock Judging Contest

Pearl City, Illinois — The Pearl City FFA took first place at the Section 1 FFA Livestock Judging Contest held at Mt. Carroll on Saturday March 17, 2018. There were 43 individuals from 9 different schools that participated, according to Pearl City school.

Pearl City swept the top five overall individual spots for the event.

Nicki Adolph took first place with a score of 478, Addison Keltner was second with a 472, Drake Musser was third with 467, Jase Sheffey was fourth with 458 and Garrett Handsaker was fifth with 447.

Also participating from Pearl City was Jazmin Wingert and Junior High students Brea Musser, Cheyenne Handsaker and Christian Fischer. Pearl City will attend the State FFA contest on April 27th in Champaign.
