Freeport, Illinois — May 19, 2017 — A memorial fund has been established for young Dylan Henderson today by the request of friends and family, to defray end costs of treatment and funeral expenses after the unfortunate circumstances that took Dylan’s young life.
According to the family’s Go Fund Me page, Dylan had a habit of “bringing out his best” and was an “incredible child”.
The family says last year saw Dylan going through four hospitalizations and lots of therapy to overcome PTSD and what the family says, were indications of a Dissociative Identity Disorder.
For nearly seven years the Henderson-Guthrie family put so much into Dylan’s treatment to help a son find peace with himself. To help him find a way to allow his unique and wonderful personality shine.
By the request of friends and family (and us), please consider helping this family during such a difficult time. The family says that any overages to the goal set and expenses will be donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), to continue efforts to reach children, research, and heal mental illness.

This Memorial will be open for 30 days.
