Freeport, Illinois — The Freeport Community Foundation recently elected Stephen Spyrison to its Board of Directors.
“We are pleased to welcome Stephen to our board of directors,” said Dan Schmitt, Executive Director of the Foundation. “We believe that Stephen’s community involvement will be very valuable to our continued growth in helping to provide for the well-being of the citizens of northwest Illinois. Our board has been instrumental in creating new donor funds, administering a dynamic marketing program to raise the foundation’s awareness, and increasing our grant making in the communities we serve.”
Spyrison is a retired dentist and is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Association, and U.S. Grant Dental Society.
Other board members for 2018 are Kimberly Beggin, Patricia Burke, Craig Deininger, Richard J. Hauser, Kathryn J. Martinez, Kathy Moffatt, Craig Monks, Ann Reedy, Andrea Schultz Winter, and Paulette Williams-Thomas.
The Freeport Community Foundation has a 43-year history as a community-based charitable organization guided by community leaders that are dedicated to providing financial solutions for current and future community needs.
