100th Annual Labor Day Weekend Shannon Homecoming Kicks Off August 31

SHANNON, ILLINOIS —A celebration started to welcome home WWI soldiers held since 1919, the Shannon Homecoming weekend long annual celebration is a northern Illinois tradition you will not want to miss.

Music, carnival rides, food, a car show and the regions famous Labor Day Parade are just a few of the events and activities you can enjoy at the Shannon Homecoming, and this year promises to be better than ever.
