Freeport, Illinois – Aquin Schools will be hosting an NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Contest on Friday, August 19 at 5:00pm on Conley Field in Freeport.
The NFL PUNT, PASS & KICK (PPK) program is a national skills competition for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 15 to compete separately against their peers.
Established in 1961, the PPK program is the oldest NFL Youth Football program. Girls and boys in five separate age divisions (6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15) compete against each other in punting, passing and place kicking in a fun and engaging forum.
The PPK program is free to every youngster who wants to participate!
With more than three million youth from around the country taking part in PPK competitions every year from, it is one of the world’s largest youth sports participation programs.
Winners of this competition will advance to the Sectional Competition in late October. The Team Championships are held in November and December. The NFL Punt, Pass & Kick National Finals will be held in January at a Divisional Playoff game.
