Freeport, Illinois — FHN will offer free car seat safety checks at a special event June 23 in Freeport.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23 at the FHN Family Healthcare Center – Burchard Hills, 1010 W. Fairway Drive in Freeport. The checks take approximately 30 minutes, and no appointment is necessary.
Interested parents and caregivers are asked to bring the child who will be riding in the car seat, the vehicle owner’s manual and the car seat instruction manual, if possible, to the event. The techs will work with parents and caregivers to have their car seats checked for proper use and installation.
