FREEPORT, ILLINOIS — FHN’s third annual Healthy Heart Hustle 5K will go “virtual” because of COVID-19 concerns this year. Participants are invited to run or walk anywhere and (almost) anytime to give their heart a run and raise money for the FHN Cardiopulmonary Department.
Registration is $25, and includes a commemorative t-shirt and participant medal. (Register by July 2 to guarantee a t-shirt and medal.) Proceeds from the race will benefit heart patients in northwest Illinois through the FHN Cardiology Department.
Registrants are asked to complete their 5K (3.1 mile) course between July 3 and July 18. Timing and posting results is optional; those who wish may post their time online at RunSignUp.com. Results also can be emailed to the FHN Foundation.
