Historic Fall Concert With Cole & The Gang This Saturday At The Masonic Event Center

FREEPORT, ILLINOIS — This Saturday a high level of musical quality and a well loved historic musical family come together for an evening of horn-driven power sounds at the Masonic Event Center in downtown Freeport.

Headliners Cole & The Gang are four brothers Steve, Carl, Clyde, and Michael who are all well known in the local musical scene joining friends for an evening of incredible local music. Cole & The Gang will be joined by the Hotel Horns featuring such artists as;

– The Hotel Horns, part of the award-winning Rockford ensemble Groove Hotel
– Groove Hotel frontman Johnse Holt and founding member Phil Pilcher
– Gary Downing, formerly of The Classics, The Nomadds, and Jukebox Rock & Roll
– And artists Andrew Cole, Jeff Lang, Paul Rehfeldt, Alan Fleming, Rick Pruitt and Francisco Bruno

In addition, The Jazz Alliance, a band of talented local artists featuring Jon Watson, Rick Andrews and John Hansen will perform along with The Main Street Exiles blues band, led by Dean Wright.

The Main Street Exiles are made up of Dean Wright, Brian Bullock, John Heise, Robert Yarner and feature C.J. Howling. C. J. Howling specializes in “Raunchy Classic Outlaw Country Rockabilly.”

Children under 10 get in free.
