Freeport, Illinois — Nine local caterers, restaurants and bakeries are having a food fight against cancer for a special event to benefit the FHN Leonard C. Cancer Center.
Friends of the FHN Leonard C. Ferguson Cancer Center invite the public to an evening of delicious appetizers and drinks, great music and fun from 6 – 10 p.m. Friday, March 24 at The Wagner House, 1 E. Spring Street in Freeport.
Enjoy the music of the Jimmys, a powerhouse, eight-piece band influenced by raw Chicago Blues to second line New Orleans funk, while you dine. The Jimmys have solidified their brand of blues and R&B across the Midwest, Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean, earned international acclaim and devoted fans.
Admission is $35 per person or $65 for a couple. Proceeds will benefit the FHN Leonard C. Ferguson Cancer Center, which provides medical oncology, hematology and radiation oncology services all under one roof, close to home for patients and their families.
