Freeport, Illinois — The League of Women Voters of Freeport will hold their annual meeting and luncheon on Saturday, April 14 starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Freeport Public Library. The business meeting will begin at 11:00, followed by luncheon at noon and keynote speaker Michael Schiffman, Freeport School District Superintendent, at 1:00 p.m. Schiffmann will provide an update on the school district curriculum and outline plans for the future success of Freeport School District 145.
Catering is being provided by 9 East and the menu includes an egg bake, mixed green salad, assorted pies, and coffee.

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
