Freeport, Illinois – The sbc Small Business Collaborative will be providing a Business Plan Workshop on August 29th from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the second floor of The Wagner House, on Spring Street, in downtown Freeport. Anyone interested in starting their own business is welcome to attend.
Brian Borger sbc Director, will share information on how to create a business plan that will give your business idea the greatest opportunity for success. All participants need to bring is a pen, passion for their business idea, and questions.
The Workshop is also a great opportunity for applicants interested in entering The Journal Standard’s Fish Tank contest to gather information for their application. Winning applicants of the contest will receive valuable prizes that will help them move a “quick step” closer to realizing their dream of business ownership.
The sbc is a partnership between Northwest Illinois Development Alliance, the City of Freeport, Freeport Area Chamber of Commerce, Freeport/Stephenson County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Freeport Downtown Development Foundation in order to develop and grow small business in the area.
