Freeport, Illinois – The Pink Heals trucks are heading to Freeport again. This years event will begin at approximately 8 am to 8:30 am with a motorcycle escort for the pink fire trucks from Winnebago corners, stopping at the Freeport/Stephenson County Visitors Center between 8:30 am to 9am. It will proceed from the Visitors Center to Heritage Woods for a visit with the residents for about an hour.
There will be stop, yet to be determined after that, then on to Fairway Ford for the main event which will include music, vendors, wellness booths, different types of vehicles, such as the bomb squad, command center, recycle vehicle from Freeport recycling, demonstrations, 18 wheeler, representatives from fire departments in the area, therapy dogs, KidTopia area where there will be games, children’s museum, food, silent auction and more.
Fairway Ford will be celebrating customer appreciation day. The event is free, but there will be donation buckets to help individuals with cancer in the local community. (815-541-5484)
