The 2017 ‘Tour de Halloween’ Offers An Evening Halloween Sight Seeing Bike Tour

Freeport, Illinois — This coming Monday evening you have the opportunity to join the Chain-Link Cyclists Bicycle Club as they host the 2017 ‘Tour de Halloween’. The Tour de Halloween is a family friendly bike ride where riders (can) decorate their bike in a Halloween theme, and along a prearranged route enjoy a view looking at some of Freeport’s best Halloween decorations.

How fun.

The ride begins and ends at Little Cubs Field off Empire street in Freeport and the group says this coming Monday, October 30, 2017 registration for the ride will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with the bike ride lasting about an hour, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m..

After the ride everyone will meet up again at Little Cubs Field for prizes, cider donuts, hot cider and of course great conversations. Who knows, maybe some of you can share a ghost story or two.

The group does say that ALL riders are required to have headlights, taillights, and a helmet. Riders are encouraged to wear costumes and decorate their bicycles.  Make sure to dress warm.
