ILLINOIS — The Whiteside County Airport will be hosting its first ever WingsFest event on June 15th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
This event will include free airplane rides for children ages 8-17 with the help of the EAA Young Eagles program coordinated by EAA Chapter 75 Quad Cities, a free learn to fly seminar for anyone who has ever considered becoming a pilot, a variety of aircraft on site displayed for public viewing, educational FAA WINGS Safety Seminars for student pilots, private pilots and commercial pilots.
There will also be special lunch pricing on Buffalo Wild Wings, free temporary tattoos for kids, with a guest appearance by Buffalo Wild Wings mascot, Blazing Bill! This will be a great event for both individuals and families!

Whiteside County airport is located at 10950 Hoover Road (IL Route 40) Rock Falls, IL, just south of Interstate 88.
