    I was in Jay’s group that went to Vietnam in August, 1968 to serve on the River Boats (PBR’s) He’s one of the Best Men that I’ve ever known. It’s gratifying to see that he’s contributing one of his works to remind us of our U.S. History in our country that many have forgotten or ignored. Thanks Jay, for keeping us alive & remembered!     Jay is my uncle. I love Uncle Jay. He changed my life for the better. I need to get to Illinois to see him. I found this looking him up on the internet because I knew I would find something about him out there considering all he has done in his life.
