Freeport – As most of you are aware when you went to use the water today, the city of Freeport’s water pressure wasn’t like it is usually is. Numerous residents and businesses reported this morning closings and problems with their water, which turns out, was a 16″ inch water main break at the city’s plant on Brick street in Freeport.
Today in the port was on the scene and here’s some footage behind the scenes on this 27 below Monday, which just happens to be Martin Luther King day.
The city of freeport has issued a boil order for 24 hours and are instructed to boil their water prior to cooking or drinking. This has been a special report. Keep watching Today in the port for more coverage of local area news.
