Citizens State Bank’s Sharon Broshous to Retire After 40 Years

LENA, Ill. – July 19, 2017 – After 40 years of friendly, dedicated service, Citizens State Bank Stockton Teller Sharon Broshous will retire on August 11, 2017.

“Sharon started work in August 1977 at First National Bank in downtown Stockton, working as a teller supervisor, as well as doing some general bookkeeping duties and running a proof machine. Over time, First National Bank became the Stockton office of Citizens State Bank. Sharon has been a long-term anchor for local customers coming in the door of the bank, providing a local friendly face and top service,” said Citizens State Bank President and CEO Fritz Kuhlmeier in announcing Sharon’s retirement. “We will miss Sharon, but wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.”

Citizens State Bank will honor Sharon with an Open House Friday, August 11 at the Stockton office, 133 W. Front Avenue from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Customers are invited to enjoy a piece of cake, wish Sharon well on her retirement, and join the celebration as we say goodbye!
