Children’s Hands-On Museum To Hold Public Meeting

Freeport – The Children’s Hands-On Museum of Northwest Illinois announced earlier this week that they are holding a community meeting January 20, 2016. The meeting will start at 6:30 and will be held at the Freeport Public Library in Meeting Room B on the first floor. You are encouraged to bring your questions, suggestions, and ideas!

During the meeting the Children’s Hands-On Museum will be sharing information about the project, signing up volunteers for various committees and upcoming events, and looking forward to meeting with all of you and hearing your ideas! Those interested in volunteering for the Children’s Museum but cannot attend are asked to email chomnwil@gmail.com.

Last October the Children’s Hands-On Museum of Northwest Illinois held an expo to what turned out to be over 800 people turning out in four days. The Children’s Museum was able to welcome nearly 800 people in their four days of exhibits, including over 500 children which was held at the Freeport Eagles’ Club.

Over 100 visionaries provided funds, material, time and talents for the exhibits.
