Come Vote For Your Favorite Display During October Breast Cancer Awareness Month

STEPHENSON COUNTY, ILLINOIS — October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the Stephenson County Health Department has done something unique again this year for staff and community.

This year staff organized teams and decorated pumpkins with each doing their own themes, with the big theme being breast cancer awareneess.

Staff says it’s just a fun way to raise awareness about a very serious for women.

All through next week the public can go to the Stephenson County Health Department and vote on their favorite one.

The Stephenson County Health Department also has the Well Woman program for women who are un-insured or under-insured.

The health department will pay for breast exams, mamorgrams and paps for women who qualify. Contact Well Woman at the Stephenson County Health Department at 1-866-590-8499 to find out if you qualify.
