This Week’s Special Guests at Lincoln Douglas School

Freeport, Illinois — It’s not very often you get to have lunch with a police officer. Especially when you’re in grade school. It’s even less often is when the Chief of Police joins in with you.

Well, today at Lincoln Douglas two lucky students had the opportunity to do just that. Special Guests, Police Chief Todd Barklow and Officer Hodges visited Lincoln Douglas School today and had lunch with students Grace and Daytreon. The school said that they both enjoyed their private lunch time with both the chief and officer Hodges.

Who will next week’s special guest be? You’ll just have to stay tuned to find out.

This is a wonderful connection between FP and school. BTW: Lincoln-Douglas is hyphenated!
