Maybe It’s Just Heartburn. Maybe It’s Not.

Freeport, Illinois — Heartburn can be a simple problem, or it can be a symptom of a much bigger problem. Join FHN Gastroenterologist Timothy Laurie, DO, FACP, for a discussion on the difference between heartburn, GERD, and even heart problems Sept. 12.

Dr. Laurie will talk about available treatments for heartburn and GERD and talk about the importance of early screening for colorectal cancers at this FHN Speaker Series presentation. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 at the FHN Family Healthcare Center – Burchard Hills, 1010 W. Fairway Drive in Freeport. There is no charge to attend, and light refreshments will be served.
