After years of hard work and dedication, Gene turned this dilapidated farm into the breathtaking historic place that it is today.

An ideal place for women over 18 years of age to spend time together, enjoying friendship and fun, Memory Lane Crafting Retreat is a historic and delightful destination within Stephenson County.

Located in the beautiful Midwest, nestled in the peaceful countryside of Northwestern Illinois within an hour from Galena, Il and a half hour from Freeport, Illinois sits the perfect location to relax, laugh, and make life-long memories.

index--element71Famously known as the birthplace and residence of Blosom, the Guinness World Record holder for Tallest Cow in the World and Guinness World Record Tallest Cow ever, it is with great pride that Memory Lane Crafting Retreat will always be known as the home to Blosom the cow. (Blosom even has a children’s book)

Featured in the Feb/March 2014 issue of Farm & Ranch Living, in the section “Prettiest Places in the Country”, the main floor crafting room at Memory Lane is a beautiful, south-facing space with plenty of natural light overlooking a pond and the picturesque countryside.

The retreat can accommodate up to nine comfortably between 3 bedrooms and sitting area.
