Illinois House Bill Set To Make It Easier For Adopted People To Find Adoption Information

Illinois – A bill in the Illinois House would make it easier for people to find out why they were put up for adoption and what types of health issues they may have inherited from their biological parents.

The House Adoption Reform committee advanced the bill last month. The full House will vote on the measure this week.

It’s sponsored by Chicago Democratic Rep. Sara Feigenholtz, says that this bill would give needed information to many adult adoptees.
