Pearl City 4th Grade Students Take Random Acts of Kindness Challenge

Pearl City, Illinois —  Fourth grade Pearl City students in Mrs. Brouhard’s class recently took part in a Random Acts of Kindness Challenge.

Mrs. Brouhard’s class at Pearl City was in the giving spirit this holiday season and took part in a Random Acts of Kindness challenge assigned by the teacher.

The students were asked to complete one random act of kindness each day during the month of December.  In addition, the class voted to forego the traditional grab bag gift exchange at their Christmas party.

Instead, they would pool their money together to make a donation to Heifer International.  They ended up with enough money to donate a goat and a flock of ducks.

The class is hopeful that their small acts of kindness will start a chain reaction and people will pay it forward
