Pearl City, Illinois – On November 17, the fifth graders at Pearl City Elementary did a jig-saw activity.
The students were divided into four groups.
Each group was responsible for studying a particular giant snake. Then they had to make a diagram on a large sheet of paper that depicted the information they had read.
Finally, they taught the other groups about their snake. Giant snakes that were included in this project were pythons, anacondas, cobras, and boa constrictors.
All of the students really enjoyed doing this!
