The Final Sale At Klapp Motor Sales On South Street

Freeport, Illinois — Back in July of this year the landmark car lot located on Freeport’s south side, famously known as Klapp Motors, got a little makeover as after decades in operation, the building was sold. As a final last sale, Klapp is holding a garage sale today, Saturday September 15th, to sell off the remaining items located at their south street location.

A new owner has purchased the property and plans are in the works to open a new business at this location. No details released yet as to what.
